The Easiest Way to Sell Surplus Pallets

If you have pallets taking up space, you have money sitting there doing nothing. Sell My Pallets pays a fair price for unwanted UK and Euro pallets, and can quote free collection on qualifying loads. One phone call and the rest is handled.

We are not a pallet marketplace and we are not a broker. We are Palltech Pallets, a family-run yard in Widnes, Cheshire, and every pallet you sell us goes onto our own wagons and into our own reconditioning line. That means you get one price, one phone number and one set of drivers you will start to recognise.

You can sell standard UK pallets (1200 x 1000mm), Euro pallets (1200 x 800mm), heat-treated ISPM15 export pallets, quarter pallets, bespoke crates, or a mixed pile of whatever is stacked behind the unit. We will quote on all of it, including pallets that are broken. Many buyers will not touch damaged stock. We run our own repair line, so we will.

Minimum collection is 30 pallets. Below that, use our M56 Services drop-off yard for cash on the day. Above that, we can quote free pickup across the North West of England and North Wales.

Payment is by BACS or cash, confirmed at the quote stage. No payment plans, no deductions you were not told about.

We have been buying pallets across Merseyside, Cheshire, Manchester and the wider North West since Palltech Pallets was founded. The relationship we are trying to build is straightforward: one call, fair price, agreed up front.

  • Registered waste carrier

How It Works

Selling pallets should not be complicated. Four steps from first call to payment.

01

Give us a ring or fill the form

Tell us roughly how many pallets you have, what size they are if you know, and your postcode. If you are not sure what you have, describe them or send a photo. We will take it from there.

02

Get a price

For most loads we can quote over the phone once we know the basics. For bigger or mixed loads we may come out for a quick look so the number we give you is the number you actually get paid.

03

We turn up and load

Our own vehicles come to your yard at a time that suits you. You do not need to sort, stack or clean anything. We count them onto the wagon and sign the paperwork.

04

Money in your account

Payment by BACS is standard. Cash on collection can be arranged for smaller loads if you prefer. Timing is confirmed at the quote stage so you know what to expect.

What We Pay

Every pallet yard will tell you pricing depends on too many things to publish a number, and that is true. But you still want a rough idea before you pick up the phone. The bands below are the shape of the market we work in; actual prices are quoted on the specifics of your load.

A-grade Euro EPAL

Top band

Stamped EPAL, clean, no broken boards or blocks. Typically the highest price per pallet.

A-grade UK Standard

Upper band

1200 x 1000mm, 4-way entry, sound stringers and deck boards. Ready to go straight back into use.

B-grade mixed

Mid band

UK or Euro, minor repairs needed. Scuffed, loose nails, one cracked board. Goes through our repair line.

Heat-Treated ISPM15

Premium band

Export-compliant stamped pallets. Priced at a premium because they resell into export supply.

Broken or for recycling

Recycling rate

Snapped stringers, fully broken stock, site-clearance waste. Still has value; most buyers will not touch it.

Mixed site clearance

Blended rate

Pile of everything, sorted by us on arrival. Common for warehouse and yard clear-outs.

Indicative only. Actual prices depend on timber costs, grade mix, distance from our Widnes yard and load size. You will always get a firm quote before we collect.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on the type, grade and quantity. For smaller loads we can usually give you a price over the phone once you tell us the size and rough condition. For larger or mixed loads we prefer a short site visit so the quote is accurate. What we promise: the price we quote is the price you are paid, no deductions on the day.
Payment by BACS is standard. Small loads and drop-off visits can be paid cash on the day. Recurring customers settle on agreed terms. Exact timing is confirmed at the quote stage.
30 pallets for a free collection. If you have fewer, the easiest thing is to either drop them at our M56 Services yard for cash on the day, or stockpile them until you hit 30 and we will pick the lot up in one go.
No. Stack them roughly in one area so the driver can get to them with a forklift or pump truck, and that is it. We sort by type and grade back at our yard, and we quote on a mixed load fairly.
Yes. Most buyers will not touch damaged stock. We have our own repair line, so a broken pallet is still worth money to us. The absolute worst thing you can do is skip them. Even a pile of snapped boards has a recycling value we will quote on.
Yes, two options. One, drop them at our M56 Services yard (Junction 14, CH2 4QZ) during working hours and get paid cash on the day. Two, stockpile them until you have 30 and we will pick them all up in one visit.
Those are hire-pool pallets and belong to the pool operator, so nobody can legally buy them from you. Return them to CHEP, LPR or IPP directly. We will happily help you identify which of your pallets are pool stock versus pallets you actually own and can sell.
Collection timing depends on load size, route and current bookings. For urgent site clear-outs we can often arrange faster slots; regular weekly runs go on a fixed schedule. We confirm a specific date at the quote stage.
Free collection on qualifying loads across the North West of England and North Wales. We are most active across L, M, WA, CW, CH, WN, PR, LA, BB, OL and LL postcodes. For larger loads we can quote further afield.
Yes. We are a registered waste carrier and we issue a waste transfer note on request, with our carrier number and the load description. That keeps your compliance paperwork straight for audits or environmental permits.
